West Coast Health Screening Services :: Heartwatch

Blood Testing

Heart Watch uses the Cholestech LDX Analyzer for all Cholesterol, ALT, AST and Glucose testing. This technology is highly accurate and requires only a fingerstick sample of blood. Quality control measures are performed daily to insure accuracy. Strict infection control techniques are used when obtaining and handling blood samples.

Test results are usually ready in 10 minutes. Results are reviewed individually with each person. Information regarding diet and exercise is reviewed. Physician review is recommended as needed.
